oh livejournal, you jokester. i deleted this journal a YEAR ago. but on a nostalgic whim due to today being 3 years since the no doubt rehearsals & the gwen hand me downs craziness, otherwise known as the best-day-of-my life, i decided i wanted this username back. well i tried to log in & you're all still here, exactly as i left it. after 30 days your account will be permanently deleted? ha. what a lie. it's all here, every entry. too bad i'm making them all private now though, i was way too open. i've learned the hard way, i'm always going to be judged by what i write here. i'm not trusting anyone.

i'm finally home and i've missed you all so much. the show was fucking amazing as usual, everything ever expected of a no doubt show. i loved loved the show and seeing all my friends again, you guys fucking rock <33 i won't go into detail 'cos that would take forever and the show is old news now.
but everything else absolutely sucked though. it was cold, i was hungry and poor and tired, my flight got cancelled and delayed and i had to spend 19 hours in washington dc dulles airport and my butt got frostbite and we like had to walk everywhere and new york is really cold and smelly and dirty and it sucked.

in the past 2 weeks i've;

gone eight more nd shows!
sacramento 11.13;
front row tom's corner. tom loves me, it's well established. we communicated by mouthing words throughout the show. gwen posed for half of every picture i took and would get so close my camera wouldn't even focus. & tom totally did the running man. oh i love tom. amazing amazing amazing.

san jose 11.14;
marsha & dawna dragged me to tony's corner.
i bailed on my photo pass, the guest list didn't arrive until 9:30.

phoenix 11.16
stupidest venue i've ever been to. but garbage nd & the distillers doing call me all together makes up for it. brody is a disapointment for not knowing the lyrics.

vegas 11.17
THERE WAS NO BARRICADE. i was standing one inch from the pink x that marked the spot for gwens mic stand. gwen tiptoed around our arms because we were hanging on the stage & didn't crush our fingers. thaanks gwen! i have a lot of crotch shot fotos. tooooo close.

i picked her up from lax & we camped out the night before. serial killers & homeless men did not kill us. they only stole my blanket. who steals a blanket?
nikkee, dave, amy & eileen all came to visit us at 2am. leisure suit larry interviewed us before the show. tommy still loves us. a lot.

long beach 11.23
after the friday show ended we walked right back around to the front of the venue and went back to sleep. crazy much? probably. went back to my house for an hour to shower & change while our sleeping bags held our spot. no homeless person stole them. show was filmed for the dvd & was exactly the same as the night before. gaby cried a lot. don't let her deny it.

this one needs to start off with; I LOVE AMY. so many car troubles & she had to go to dealers in murrieta & long beach, & finally her lovely nice dad drove us to the show. we got there around nine pm, latest show arrival ever for me, right before garbage went on & still got to the barricade on tom's side. and i only had to push ONE person. being a short nice girl has it's advantages. we can't say the same for dave.
gwen leaned over & held my hand & mouthed stuff that i didn't understand so she just smiled & thanked me for coming & called me cute. aweeesome

san diego 11.26
sab diego beats phoenix as the stupidest venue ever.
we had to make a mad dash down 3 flights of stairs for them to tell us to run all the way back up to get our wristbands and then fight for that and get our tickets checked and run back down the stairs while everyone at the other entrance that got there at like 5pm was ALREADY INSIDE. the crowd SUCKED and showed no sign of life. we danced it up.
we had to go back to la and followed their buses back on the freeway. finally one bus got on the 5 to gwen's house and amy & dave said i fell asleep. & then we passed them because going 55 on the freeway back to long beach is not how we do.

& i discovered nearly everyone in so cal can has some connection to no doubt whether they're aware of it or not. ie: my french teacher's best friend hope was tom's ex girlfriend of four years. my pe teacher was gwen's old pe teacher, my dads co-worker is close friends with phil jordan, other co-worker went to school with eric & gwen, my friend's mom works with tony's mom on the anaheim city council, etc.
& i've spent close to $150 on film & developing pictures so far :[

tom gave me 4 more guitar pics & there is major eye contact in half of my photos. i'm leaving for arizona in fifteen minutes. JEN I HOPE YOU'RE GOING. i have no clothes to wear & i will be ugly & unprepared & exhausted, but i will be having fun.

can we all say oh my fucking god? i
can't even describe it. it was the most awesome thing ever.
in the middle of spiderwebs gwen comes over and is like "YOU UP HERE, NOW" all pointing 2 fingers at me and gaby and then at the stage. & we're like looking at each other and behind us and gwen's like "YOU! both of you!" so the guard takes me out & gwen helps me up because i'm a big retard. the guard gets gaby up & gwen is saying something like an inch away from my face. i was so in shock, i was just staring at all her stage make up + could see her mouth moving but couldn't hear any words so i have no idea what was said. the whole thing was like a movie in slow motion without sound.
gwen walks us to the end of the catwalk with her arms around us and then stephen comes out & takes my camera and takes a picture of us with gwen & we ran over to hug tom. gaby hugged him first then i got there and hugged tom and kissed him and then we went off the side of the stage.
we were like walking out and one of the main guards comes up to us with 2 after party passes and hands them to us and i'm like "thank you so much!" & hug him (wtf?) & he's like "no no don't thank me, thank gwen. she requested you 2 get these" and walks away so we're walking around random stairs and random people are like hugging us & poking me but wow. it was so fucking amazing.
thankfully sara got a pass and one for lauren so we didnt have to ditch our ride. i wasn't going to ditch her, i love gaby and sara and lauren and tara and everyone, they're all so fucking amazing and nice. i'm so so sorry to sonic i love her so much. she's so precious.
& tom's girl meeks is so cute,i LOVE her. she told me "awww i saw you kissing my boyfriend" and saying how we were cute and we had good taste backstage. tom was the DJ @ the afterparty & stephen danced [badly] with everyone. gabe took over & we hung out with fucking tony kanal <3 on the couch & looked at his butt [he showed it off. ask gaby. oh babyy]
best fucking day ever.
